Rule #11
Close the loop.
You don't have to personally carry out and complete every small detail of an idea/design...but, you should always try to be the last person to look over, touch, or alter whatever it is you're working on.

Rule #7
Be thorough.
You don't have to finish everything that you start, but when you've decided that something is worth finishing... complete it entirely. Think through every aspect and anticipate every possibility as best you can. You should be able to answer any question about anything that you do.

Rule #5
Simplify.
Simplification should make things easier and clearer. Things, processes, and ideas can be simplified. It takes skill and practice to simplify well. There is a point at which simplification turns into abstraction. Be aware of this.

Rule #2
Have a little self control.
You don't need everything right now, right away, immediately. Don't rush, through things. Think. Time is not as important as everyone makes it out to be. Use it to your advantage and make calculated decisions when necessary. Patience.
